Gears of War Board Game, er Distraction

Solid B
I located one of the most awesome game shops in the world. They didn't have shelves, they had pillars of product! I dug through the 40k pile like a rat through cheese but decided half way through my shopping cart that I had way to much to work on at home. After meeting some really great peeps I stumbled upon the Gears of War board game. My boy and I had been drooling over this game months ago. Finally, I had it in my hands. After getting home we unboxed it and away we went. Hours in, we never got to the actual game. We spent most of the time trying to figure out the rules and admiring the models... mainly the Berserker that I might convert for Cities of the Dead. Anyways, we finally figured out how to play the game and set up for the first level, but alas our Sunday got away from us and company showed up at the door. From what I've seen of GoW I'm stoked but not THAT stoked. I give it a solid B for great models and the potential game play. Kind of a combination of Space Hulk and Horus Heresy. More to follow on this one!
