"...some men aren't looking for anything logical like money. They can't be bought, bullied, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn..."
That is a damn good question son. I think there are a few ways to look at it...
In game terms a transformer would function as a very agile dreadnought. As you know, most normal space marines don't stand a chance against them unless armed with some type of melta weapon or a powerfist.
If we are saying the transformer is not as heavily armored as a dreadnought then I think we could watch the 2x scenes from Robocop when he goes toe-to-toe with ED-209 and get a good idea of how it would go down. That is, if all parties can agree that robocop would be as durable as a normal space marine.
If we look at this thing from the lens of a movie that Michael Bay was producing, then this fight would have lots of explosions and both would end up killing each other in some spectacular manner. Of course, there would have to be a whining sniveling guy in there trying to save some nearly prepubescent female from her virginity (enter Shia LaBeouf).
Otherwise, this is an excellent question requiring some critical thought from the Council.
