Here We Go!!!

Just got back from a brief vacation in the North Shore. While I was there I was able to get my head back in the game. Below is a solid list I intend to complete in the near term. I'm sitting at my table hitting it right now! I have about 10 hours to get as far as possible... I swear painting is like working out. The more you do it the better you get, the longer you can go...
1. Chaos Monster - YEESSS!!! I purchased this beast years and years ago. I figure I can't mess this guy up no matter how bad my paint skills have deteriorated.

2. Mercenary IG Conversions - Hold overs from the Illuminatus (40k skirmish) game Cody and I were trying to get started. I posted these guys awhile back and am very happy with the conversions. Before I go diving back into my Templars I'm going to use this group to get my painting skills back up to par. I have about 12 Mercs and at the very least I can use some of these guys as markers or an allied force of veterans in a campaign setting.

3. High Marshall Helbrecht - I was very intimidated by this model at first but he's already half way painted. I think I'm going to go with spartan red for his robes... he will be glorious.

4. Land Speeder #1 - Too many details...

5. Land Speeder #2 - Too many details...

6. Land Speeder #3 - I bet you thought I was going to write too many details.

7. Special Weapons - I have about 8x Templars with special weapons. I'll probably lump in some standard initiates as well.

8. Sword Brethren - I've completed their bases and the rest will flow from my brush like water.

9. Rhino &Razorback - These guys have to be put together. I'll probably add a significant amount of iconography over the original I produced.

10. Land Raider Crusader - Also needs to be put together. This thing is going to be ridiculous on iconography and detail...

  1. I ended up getting completely wasted last night. I completed most of the base coats on the Chaos Monster and drunk text'ed half a dozen people. Now I keep staring at the damn thing... it would be so easy to finish. What is wrong with me!?!
