Finally! Made it through the work week... holy crap!
So, I have been putting a lot of thought into RPGs and have dropped a ton of money into the books for various reasons... art, story and game mechanics. I recently picked up Pathfinder, which is awesome, and thought I was going to have a group come together but it doesn't look like that's going to happen. From there the "youngling" and I began the process to rekindle our old play-by-blog Dark Heresy game. Before we posted anything we then had a moment of clarity... what if we created our own game based on all of the coolest stuff we've seen through out popular media and games we have played. So here we are, fashioning a game system based on the old West End D6 system! I printed out half a dozen D6 system refs and we're off! In the next 4 days I plan on having a rules system put together, character arch-types at the ready and a story line outlining the dark dystopian world everyone is about to enter. Of course there will have to be a blog site devoted to the game... I'll probably white wash MADWARS RPG to fit the part. Hopefully the fellas are saving their content from previous games now!
