So I've been sitting in my painting room for the last 3+ hours and I just can't commit to anything. I look at my models... Templar Terminators , 15mm Conscripts, Orks, terrain projects... they are all asking for my attention. I poured up a jack and coke and while I feel like I could start at any minute I continue to procrastinate. It was only when I was sifting through images of old games that I really started to get motivated. The image you see on the top left was from a game that Jonny and I played years ago. I don't remember who won but I remember it was fun as hell! The game board we used was giant and dynamic and we were playing over 2000 points. Anyways, I saw this image and it was so inspiring I had to repost it... it also makes me wonder what the Nid is thinking about. I wonder if he cares he is getting cut up by some kind of rusty power saw that just ginsu'ed the other members of his nest. I look at the orks surrounding him and I wonder why the retard to the left is using his gun as a club when he has extra rounds on his shoulder pad (whatever, it makes me happy).
With all of this said, I hope I have motivated someone to pick up a brush or call a friend to war it out for a few hours. I will post my progress at the end of the night.
Jonny and I played this weekend. I will post pics tomorrow or thursday. The pics didn't come out great because of poor lighting and my drunkeness but there are a couple good shots.
