What did you do Ryan?!?!

So my good friend Ryan snuck out and sunk some cash into Warmachine. WTF!?!? Apparently, he will be playing Menoth, an all homosexual zealot-like warband that worships some stupid god that grants them power... blah-blah-blah. Anyways, I have to figure out what army I'm going to use to remove his stain from the earth. I have a bunch of unpainted Cygnar (think all the best parts of Camelot with steampunk technology) but really want to play Khador (think Russians with heavy mechs). Cody has already called the Cryx (think necromancers and undead) and already has a pirate theme... bad ass!!!


For the time being I'll be finishing up the Ork Warbikers that are on the work bench. Once completed I'll likely shift to the Cygnar, since I already dropped about a $100...  just have to dig them out of the bits box. I don't think I'll be going with traditional blue though... I think I will try purple. I got pretty good with that particular color when I was working on the Chaos Cultists. So, my thoughts are bone and purple cloth with shiny gold and steel armor. Makes me think of the Praetorian from ancient Rome. I'll have to come up with some kind of back story as to why they are a different color; maybe they are elite, but maybe they have ceded from the Empire and are a whole new faction on their own... more to follow.
