Alien was on just a couple of weeks ago and the first time I heard the intro to this I just pictured the the chest bursting scene. Awesome. I wonder if that was on purpose??? Could this be about the battle for Macragge?

40k Movie Trailer
I was cruising through you tube the other day and came across an expanded teaser trailer for the new 40k movie Ultramarines. From what I see I am mostly satisfied as I am not expecting anything mindblowing. I have seen many people complain about the old spes mahreen shown in the trailer because he is too old and weak looknig. Most exciting is that there will be blood so it won't be for the power ranger crowd. Yeah.....

My only complaint is the graphics are too game like. Maybe that's what they are shooting for. When I watch it, I feel like I'm watching an intro to Dawn of War. Not sure what I think of it yet, but I'm still interested in checking it out. Side note, see the cover for Fallout Las Vegas? The armor he's wearing would be an awesome Imperial Guard Army.
ReplyDeleteSorry I have written or even said hey for a while. I've had the month from hell. I can't recall the last time I touched a brush or thought about playing 40K. Hopefully by mid September things slow down so we all can get back to the hobby that runs our lives.
Dudes! I dig it though... I could totally just sit back and enjoy seeing a 40k novel unfold in graphics like that. Good snag Joel. I hope you guys are doing well. Missing old times. I have jumped head first into paintball so Cody and I are headed out every Saturday. You guys are more than welcome to join.

I got back last Friday. Good to be home. Had fun in San Diego, but definitely glad to be home now! I don't know how you can be away from home for MONTHS at a time, your a better man than me! Good God, two weeks was enough for me, I couldn't imagine 6+ months. Well, I'm busy this weekend, but if you guys want to hook up sometime next week, just give a shout out.
