The first one follows the tutorial but it was a little thin. It looks more like icy dry snow. I was not crazy about it but it was alot better than my previous attempts.
For the second photo I thickened it up some by adding more snow flock plus a little white paint. I didn't think that it would change it all that much but it made it look more like packed snow rustled up from the movement. Honestly the picture is a much better than it looks in person. In fact most of the ones that I have finished look like piles of powder, just powder, not snow powder.
I am going to thin it out a little. How much? A little or a lot?

ReplyDeleteDamn man, seeing what you're doing is motivating as hell. It makes me realize that I am tired of orks. Time for something new. I think I am going Tau Auxiliary. Jonny, I'm ripping part of your idea but they won't look the same. Joel, thanks for the motivation and send us a group shot the soonest!
