This guy ended up taking me around 4 days of sporadic painting. I was a bit perturbed by this and expected him to only take 2.
I figure he could represent a great objective marker or some type of rampaging beast stalking our squads through the City of the Dead.
... or at the very least Cody can use him as an ally for his Chaos.

I love the gore on the fangs and mouth. The detailing is great. How did you come to own this beauty?
ReplyDeleteThanks dude. The gore is a mix of static grass, fine sand and glue. I painted it white and then several reds before glossing it. I centralized the gore in the middle mouth area as I figured the larger tusk-like fangs wouldn't have been able to completely close around the unfortunate guardsman.
ReplyDeleteHe was purchased from Forge World around 3 years ago and has been hibernating in the dirty secret that is my "closet of GW gluttony."
Ugh, just looked at the close up... the tusks/claws need some yellowing...
ReplyDeleteSorry for my lack of post. Dude that thing is sick. Absolutely beautiful. I swear it looks like a 'Eavy Metal paint job. Kudos.
